Xavi talks Lewandowski, Dani Alves and USA tour ahead of Barcelona vs Pumas
Fc Barcelona are set to lock horns with PUMAS on Sunday at Camp Nou, at the iconic Joan Gamper trophy.
It is going to be the first real game at Camp Nou for the newly-formed Barcelona team that went through multiple changes.
“The team is in a good shape, we have good sensations in training. the team is training well with a lot of strength and rhythm after the USA tour, we trained for a whole week. The important thing is to be in a good state,” said Xavi.
The Barcelona coach urged the fans to get behind them in their first real game at Camp Nou tomorrow, especially after an excellent summer transfer window.
“We have created an atmosphere of optimism and this is what we saw in Lewandowski’s presentation, and we want to bring joy to the Barcelona fans. The goal this year is to win titles, play football in a good way and bring joy to people.

Talking about the game, Xavi says he is looking forward to the challenge of facing PUMAS and indeed Dani Alves. The veteran defender was released by Barça at the end of last season, with the player joining PUMAS on a free transfer.
